President's Message
Thank you for visiting the website of the Haitian American Lawyers Association of Illinois (HALA). It is an honor to serve as the current President of HALA. During my term of service, I hope to bring awareness to issues facing Haitian nationals and Haitian Americans here in the United States. Additionally, I hope to build a bridge to the community of Haitians in Haiti with the vision of rebuilding the country from the devastating natural and social unrest that has plagued the people and the country for decades.
As lawyers in the United States, we have been blessed to be available to serve the Haitian American community in Illinois since HALA's incorporation in 2008. However, our service can only be enhanced with your support not only with your time, your talents but also with your treasure as a member or a donor. So, please consider being a regular contributor to the community-responsive programming that we put together. It is with our unity that we have strength!
